Big night last night, we got 6 new ticks. We are getting to the point where 6 ticks in a night is a big night. The highlight of the day was @Damian74Shensky and my Diamondbacks picking up a 13! Of course, we are still missing 3 somehow.

I'd rather need a 3 then 9,12,13 like the Rangers....though them breaking up Houston's 10 game streak was a nice touch

We need more than a 3, also a 10 and 11. Happy to tick 13 though.

Anyone ever see the video of @Shandycan when he was catching for his team.

Pretty sure it was the catcher, not God, who broke his rib.

I realize the comma negates that, but still read it the other way.

I'm just curious if the runner was out for batter interference....

Hahahaha, I've been watching this all day. The answer @LehighAce06 is no- it wasn't batter interference. He made zero move, not even a slight lean one way or another, to inhibit the catcher

That's true but I thought he was expected to get out of the way... I guess it's just the normal thing to do to avoid exactly that

Maybe if he moved in the direction of first base, but that's essentially helping out the other team haha, just like moving early on a suicide squeeze... what he did was perfectly legal, the catcher was just... umm... I don't even know haha

The more I think about it I guess normally the catcher moves to be behind or in front of the batter, for some reason I was thinking you usually see the batter take a step back out of the box to get out of the way but I'm not sure where I got that idea.

As long as the batter is fully within the batters box it's the catchers job to avoid him while making a throw to third. Some guys will duck so they don't take one in the ear or back out of the box but the correct thing is to hold your ground and let the catcher figure it out. That's why you rarely see anyone try to steal third with a lefty at the plate.

Poor Dodgers, scored 4 in the 9th to end up with 14.
