Pretty wild but there was an Alpine Dinner at HopCat East Lansing last Thursday. Had a pint of Nelson and Duet, my wife did as well. $40 dollars for those four drafts however, the bartender filled a growler of Nelson and Duet for $9 dollars each in my local brewery growlers.....$18 dollars total for a growler fill of Nelson and Duet in Michigan

I've also seen a large difference in growler vs glass fills of alpine. I imagine it has to do with overhead.

Keene Idea for growler fills Friday & Saturday. Great if you have trading partners who need to tick it

In line at alpine right now. Line getting pretty long for growler fills.

Picking up 4 growlers of Keene and two growlers of alpine brewed hoppy birthday. And 6 bottles of Nelson. Today is a good day

It's also a limit of 3 bottles of Nelson, so there probably is a mule, err..., S.O. involved.

My S.O. likes beer. We need twice as much since there's two of us.

    This!

On another note: the alpine brewed hoppy birthday was delicious. Keene was amazing but the Nelson was off

I know the feeling. Mine just doesn't like beer, she's in the trade working as a sales rep for a distribution company.

Felt the same about the Nelson when I grabbed some last weekend. Wasn't great.

Wrapping up a growler of Keene Idea and it's delicious. But every sip has me second guessing, "is this really that good or am I crazy and Green Flash killed it?" And by killed it, I mean I think it's good, but it's not because Green Flash produced it. (I know it was Alpine, I live here, just saying). Swirling heads.

Just had Duet the other night for the first time. In my opinion, I like the taste more than Keene.
