Depending on far you're looking at driving, Astoria is a cool place to visit. Fort George, Astoria Brewing, Buoy, and even a Rogue outpost. The movie Goonies was filmed there, and there's stuff related to that, if you're into it. Enjoy your visit.

 

They've got things pretty well dialed in at this point, so I doubt they would put 1 case limits on something that won't last the weekend.

As for food, I'd recommend popping over to Netarts (5 minutes west of Tillamook on the Pacific Ocean) and getting some oytsers. The Schooner is probably your best bet for seafood in the area. Depending on which direction you plan on heading from Tillamook you've got a few options. If you head south to Pacific City there's Wildflower Grill and J's Fish & Chips. If you make it up to Astoria I suggest Bowpicker's Fish & Chips (assuming they're open). It's a couple blocks east of Ft George, and built out of a refurbished gillnet boat. They're usually open from 11-6ish, but go early because they tend to run out of fish and close early on weekends.

 

If you make it to Fort George, see if you can get Three Way version ??? poured for you. We are all anticipating its release.

And Short Round was a badass back in the day. He probably sells real estate now...

I'm guessing Special Rouge and Petit Azacca will be available - it looked like they had a fair number of cases left. The other Petits and Citra Hose may be a long shot. But nothing you can do but keep your fingers crossed. At least you're almost guaranteed to have a great on-premise bottle selection. I suggest making some quick friends and sharing a few bottles rather than tackling just one on your own.

If you're heading north, Pirates Cove just north of Garibaldi has good food. About a 20-25 minute drive north of the brewery. If you make it all the way to Astoria, Baked Alaska is a nice dinner spot. Not sure what your plans are, but making Astoria your destination for the evening and staying there would make for a nice weekend trip. Have a nice dinner, then stumble to Buoy and/or Fort George. If you're into ticking, then Astoria is there as well. I would skip Rogue, personally. But if you're in Astoria in the morning, Blue Scorcher is a good breakfast spot. And make sure to swing by Coffee Girl for coffee (next to Rogue).

Also, if you're heading that far north, I think Seaside Brewing is worth a stop on the way. I would skip Bill's in Cannon Beach, personally.
