In what order of preference would you put citrusy, piney, and dank IPA's? 1-2-3

    Citrusy
    Piney
    Dank

    I'd go Piney, Dank, Citrusy

    Most of my favourite IPA's are a solid combination of Citrus and Pine but I would have to go with Citrusy, Piney, Dank. I can't say I've ever really been a fan of Dank IPA's.

    I don't think you can boil it down to only three categories. You're forgetting tropical, and even then you have combinations of all of these.

    I definitely prefer anything juicy, whether that be citrus or tropical. You really can't go wrong with any ipa style though all three of those options are delicious when done right.

    I do not drink three different IPA's in a row, unless maybe I've already had all 3. It isn't fair to judge with how much IPA's wreck your palate.

    I didn't vote because:

    1. My preference varies depending on what I'm in the mood for
    2. Many great ipas have a combination of these flavors
    3. The term "dank" in reference to beer seems vague compared to citrus and pine

    honestly don't know what "dank" is supposed to be describing

    I like my IPAs with that tropical/juicy/citrusy smell and taste and there are certainly some good resiny/sticky mouthfeel ones

    grapefruit, pine and the rest ... that's my order of preference, and I don't like "the rest" including tropical fruit flavors.

    if you can get a 'smells like a safety meeting' from dark horse...that's what dank tastes like. A fantastic brew

    Super dank please. Then pine.
    I definitely don't like those IPAs that taste like a glass of mango juice or dry as hell and like grapefruit.
