I loved the nose on Hop Hunter, the taste was a letdown. Truth.

So many good citrusy IPAs available in NJ, most listed ITT. Just keep doing process of elimination and you'll eventually find the IPAs that you enjoy.

PS: Everytime someone brings up Head Hunter, I just want to cry since I cannot get it readily here in SEPA....and with no good reason either. It's available in western PA, just bring it farther east..........please!

Also, since you're in Jersey I assume that PA beers are readily available. Victory's stuff is really good. Hop Devil and Dirt Wolf are two of my favorites.

can't believe I forgot about All Day. It's actually the most popular and best selling SIPA in NEPA.

Two-Hearted is really the only right answer to this question. There isn't a better constantly available IPA out there. Best part is, it's a big seller so not hard to find fresh.

Thanks to everyone who mentioned @Sixpoint Bengali and/or Resin. We appreciate the support!

@dymmig89 - if you let me know where you are located in NJ, I can point you in the right direction if you'd like.

Throwing in a vote for Tröegs Perpetual, as well as SN Torpedo. I've seen Resin a lot more recently too.

Don't know if Boulevard distributes to NJ, but we recently got it in NY and The Calling is awesome... probably my new favorite IPA.

I will also echo what others have said above; some of my other go-tos:

    - Victory Dirt Wolf
    - Elysian Space Dust
    - Bear Republic Racer 5
    - Lagunitas IPA
    - Green Flash West Coast IPA

Not sure if this has been covered before since I'm new to BA but what do you guys/gals consider are the top 10 IPA's that are widely available that don't require I camp out like a Walmart shopper on Black Friday or chase beer trucks leaving the brewery? I just want to be able to go to the beer store and pick one up routinely. One of my favorites is Easy Jack and Double Jack, not sure if they are top 10 but damn good.

Union Jack don't get no love? Would throw that one in there too

Not always "easy" but given you're in New England - Maine Beer Co hoppy offerings are great (if expensive)

Thete are so many great IPAs anymore it's easy to find something on shelves almost anywhere. Victory DirtWolf, Ithaca Flower Power and Troegs Perpetual are all easily available. Anything from Green Flash is good. I'd say just try whatever you can easily get until you find some you love.

    Lagunitas Hop Stoopid
Ballast Point Sculpin and Grapefruit Sculpin
    Cigar City Jai Alai
    AleSmith IPA
    Lagunitas IPA
    Stone "Drink By" series
    Founders Centennial IPA

All are relatively easy to get if they are in your distribution area. Also, because of that fact - be sure to check the date on the bottles. Sometimes liquor stores leave them on the shelfs too long. Ran into a year and a half old six pack of Centennial IPA on Friday. Glad I checked the date.
