I said hockey's a great sport. Its commissioner on the other hand is a complete moron. Hockey is like baseball where it is mostly broadcast regionally. So if you don't root for the local team, you are screwed. There are a few "nationally" televised games (typically one a week) but they are on a channel nobody watches.

lol original with the rolling on the ground portion...Simulation happens in every sport, I will agree it happens too frequently in some sports but it is a part of every sport. I don't think we are too far away from seeing advertisements on other jerseys as well. I mean they are all over the fields, ice and etc today.

I call it like I see it, you're right that it's happening in other sports too but it's epidemic in soccer, basically part of the game; like intentionally fouling in the NBA to manage the clock. And you're probably right about jerseys, much as I hate to admit it. Like Dennis, I'm primarily trying to ruffle feathers.

Also like him, I wish I could get more into soccer, but it's not easy to follow, and in my case I don't really know what's going on. I'd love to sit down with someone who knows a lot about the game and have them explain more about the strategy to me, as little of it as I've watched I mostly just see guys chasing around a ball as it gets punted from one end to the other of a giant field.

While I really dislike the faking of injuries and believe that they need to have rules where if you're that hurt you just miss 5,10,15 etc minutes of play. It will reinstate some integrity to the game.

That all being said I think the flopping is just a knee jerk reaction from many Americans. If you had said so many games with so few goals being scored I'd have followed that a little easier.

Also here is the 'best' of the NBA -

In football it happens an awful lot as well with the new high octane offenses...Defensive lineman hit their back and grab a knee to slow the offense down and catch their breath. The difference in soccer is if you are attended to for an injury you are off until the referee allows you back on, in football it is basically a free time out and the player is subbed out for 1 play.

I agree, all sports need to crack down on flopping, faking injuries.

I tried not rising to the bait, but

    Couldn't resist.

Agreed. The NFL has you miss a play if you stop play for an injury, though even that isn't stopping some teams from using it anyway. It'd be somewhat difficult to institute that in soccer, however, since their substitution rules (if I'm not mistaken) are that once you're out you're out for the rest of the match, while it would be costly for your star player to be off the field for a length of time, it could just as easily be abused to get him some rest on the sideline and still be able to come back on.

I'm a witness to this #lehighfresh Jai Alai.
I was fortunate to land a couple bottles of Love child 4 and shared one with wifey. She liked it so much and made the comment "would love this on our Mrytle beach trip." This was around the same time @gjoker321 posted a sighting of Love child 5. Sometimes I have good ideas to please the wife and this would be one.
I BM'd Geoff #pickitupformebro if possible to enjoy 4 & 5 together in the sand. Little did I know he would send all of Florida with him and extras

    Cigar City:
    Cubano style espresso - always a won't
Capital of the world - haven't heard of this one
Jolly Ollie - taking this down asap
Bolita double brown - this will make a nice dinner brew

And of course Jai Alai that was canned on the 5th. I actually received this bomb Friday so it was two days old at the time.

Three Boulevard brew are Saison Brett and Imp. Stout coffee. I've had the coffee stout and it was incredible!
    Excited about the Season.
Boulevard recently hit OH this year and but didn't see love child 4 so I didn't want to take a chance of not getting Love child 5 - the wife pleaser

Seriously Geoff you did way to much. Remember Florida is part of the south. You did not have to total my porch I'm on your side!!

Your generosity in this manner will not be overlook!
    Thanks man!! Cheers

I mean the "limit" is 6 bottles, max 150 oz, but there honestly haven't been a ton of entries yet (unless people enter en masse, this may be one of the smaller locals rounds but I haven't actually counted nor have I went back to check exactly how many entered past rounds to compare) so I don't think I'm going to do separate categories

Well just when I thought it was safe and let my guard down a little I get blindsided by one of you slow talkers. @Corriecrafts launched a well planned attack on my porch. I didn't need to see the shipping label to figure out where this box came from because the poor spelling was a dead giveaway that it was from the south. All joking aside, this is a great box of beer. This is the second time one of my wish list beers has been granted. My wife was impressed with the high level of packaging done in this box. Thanks so much Corrie for all of these great brews. Especially the Black Maple.
