That is a fine, fine beer! We had it at our wedding reception.

After a mediocre round of golf, my wife and I went to York River Landing. I had Clown Shoes Hammer of the Holy and my wife had Birrifico del Ducato Chrysopolis. I thoroughly enjoyed my beer, and my wife said her beer was about the best one she's ever had.

I was very pleased with it. Allagash has a habit of making great beers. Not sure how long ago your wedding was but if your taste in partners is as good as your taste in beer you should have a long and happy life together. Congrats.

Since when did pets get so judgmental? I mean, it is 3:30 - close enough right?!

It's light and crisp and refreshing but I'm having a hard time picking out distinct elements of the flavor and just finding it to be a wash of briny mildness. Maybe my palate's broken. Regardless, it should make for a good lower-ABV muggy-day brew this summer and I'm certainly enjoying it on this beautiful, sunshiny day.

    Happy Wednesday!
