Wow, I'm not good with numbers/dates. Thought May 7th canning, that's pretty fresh. Just crunched the numbers (yes math nerds, I know I'm slow) and I received a beer, via trade that's 7 days old. That's crazy.

So I didn't see the episode, so I'm just guessing... But on the tour they talk about how the clean there barrels. First they brush them out by hand to get the large stuff, then they steam them, and then they fill them with water and chains and spin them around to really get the last bit of anything out of them. I'm guessing that last part is the barrel centrifuge? I didn't actually see that part when walking around the brewery though.

And I could believe the Moeder Lambic cellar is ridiculous. The stuff they have on their list is crazy enough (though I'm still sad they didn't actually have LPF), and I could bet they have some crazy bottles not on the list in there.

@jawas looks like you're covered, but if for whatever reason there's an issue let me know as NC has started seeing it as well. Same goes for anyone else in thread. We don't have it just sitting around, but my local has had it fairly regularly once we started getting it about a month or so ago.

I believe that you are correct sir...

If the house/porch is still there...

Don't worry, I've got quick reflexes. I'll duck as that box flies south... (It might have to do a little boomerang action...) [Edit--Just checked the score:slight_frown:]

Glad that the Huna made it safely. There was a little extra room in the box so I threw a few other things in. Enjoy!

    Oh yeah...#TNSWA!!!

It was a machine rocking back and both along a 45 degree axis. I am very disappointed in you that you don't know about this.

It's an awesome episode, everyone here should watch it

Okay, that's definitely the barrel-chain-cleaning-thing that I was describing then. They basically put chains in the barrel, fill it up with water, rock it around to get any stuff out of the inside, and then rinse. Think they do it a couple times. They REALLY want those barrels to be clean so each time you're getting just the funk from that batch of lambic as opposed to prior batches.
