I think the Kate Upton of 1.5-2 years ago was better than the Kate Upton of now.
    Sorry...had to!

No way. The current batch is a lot more top heavy, but also has the full body to balance it out.

I'm as hard on TG as anyone (even when Mike was still around), I thought this batch of King Sue tasted fantastic. I don't think it tasted anything like the King Sue I've had before, but I thought it was pretty tasty. It'd be interesting to know what their final gravity was because this to me tasted more like OG Sue that we normally know than King Sue we've had before.

I felt like I got more booze out of this King than I ever have out of regular Sue.

This batch was very smooth, got a grapefruit, Orange Rhine flavor. Only wish aroma would have been a little more pronounced.

Is it really surprising to people that a beer that has only been made what 3 or 4 times before, didn't taste exactly the same each time?

I'm just jealous that you're hammering the King at 11AM on a weekday.

Drink it how you want, but KS isn't a pint glass beer for me. Too pretty, aromatic, and fun to play with in a Teku or even a red wine glass.

It's a relevant point for anyone complaining about the aroma. I don't care what the hell you're complaining about though. Carry on.

This guy clearly can't drink beer right, people! Give him a break.

    Sun light = drain pour
    Pint glass = drain pour

What's next... touching the rim of the bottle accidentally after opening will spread germs into the beer and result in a drain pour? Some of you guys need to worry less about how people enjoy their beer and drink a little more beer the way you like it.

I honestly can't tell if some of the people on this forum are just trolling or actually being that stupid.

Did you just accuse me of saying that "pint glass=drain pour" as if that's a remotely reasonable interpretation of "drink it how you want, but it's not a pint glass beer for me"? And you backed it up by claiming that other people are trolling? Them's some top-level thinkering skills.

Right there with you. It's a good beer, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it (at least in its current incarnation) justifies the massive amounts of hype.
