Picked one of these up the other day. Seems a bit kitchy and gimmicky but hey they got me to buy one. Anyone have thoughts or similar experience being sold by the marketing and unique concept. Am I just a sucker? Wait don't answer that question, already know the answer. :slight_frown: Hopefully it's better than Silva Stout! Reviews seem pretty decent but as always it depends on the person drinking the beer right?

I had it on tap a while back. It's a pretty great imperial stout, but I wouldn't spend $20 on it. But I think you'll like it; it's a very good beer.

But but but... It's been to space!

And the box it comes in is awesome!

I passed on it too due to the price, sounds good tho. And ninkasi is pretty cool

Sapporo also made a beer with ingredients sent into space if I remember correctly.

Bought it based on description...hazelnuts, anise, stout...yes. Was above average but not worth a second purchase at the $17 price tag.

I'd actually forgotten that I posted that  ...I just saw it today and grabbed one.
Good thing I didn't ask about the price first though - it was a $25 bottle :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

I have seven bottles sitting at home. It's considerably better on draft.

I believe they used barley grown at the ISS? I could be wrong.

I "liked" this post simply on the basis that he put the $ in the correct location.
