I really liked this one too. It's a seasonal so I'm not sure how much is still around. I'll let you know if I come across anymore.

I'm glad to hear this @slvrmon82! In the interest of saving heartache for everyone involved, please be sure to send beer that follows the criteria of this BIF:
    • Is out of your target's distribution (use seekabrew.com as needed)
    • Is rated at least 85 (this minimum is treated similar to the volume minimum; that is to say that everyone ignores it and tries to avoid sending anything rated below 90)
    • Is not something easily found on any beer store's shelf within its distribution area.

I just got 4pks of Nelson / Citra / Green Diamonds. I look forward to these guys continued success. They are proof that every 'world class' IPA needs to be in 4pk 16oz can format.

I'm glad you appreciated it, I have been hoping you didn't feel like I was overstepping by speaking up so much on this situation. And yes, @slvrmon82, the boxes you've sent to this point are "a situation".

Specifically for IPAs, that's probably my favorite format. If I want more than 4, 8 is better than 6; if I don't then a 6pack would be wasteful. I can't think of a time when I want 12oz of an IPA that I wouldn't want 16oz, whereas 22oz can be more than I'm looking for if I want to open a few different things. Cans are awesome.

I just thought about 22oz bomber IPAs and it made me sad.

Some of my favoriate 16oz cans:
La Cumbre Elevated IPA / Other Half IPAs / Heady Topper / Abrasive / Nugget Nectar / NoDo Hop Cakes and Hop Drop

So many more good ones than that! The Substance, Sip of Sunshine, Second Fiddle (I think that's 16, haven't had it yet), The Shape of Hops to Come, Tree House cans, Alchemist IPAs that aren't Heady, the list goes on and on!

Also, it seems worth mentioning that unlike other IPA bombers, somehow Trillium's 750mL IPA bottles have not yet once felt like a chore to finish, despite being so large, something about how incredible they are just makes them go down so quickly...

@LehighAce06 every 16oz you just listed are all ones I've never had the pleasure of trying. Added to my ISO list.

Happy to help! 12oz IPA cans (Jai Alai, White Oak Jai Alai, Mastermind, Modus Hoperandi, Perpetual) can also be pretty awesome but I just love the extra 4oz. I also forgot Pizza Port and Modern Times' 16oz IPAs!

Don't forget Incredible Pedal (12oz can) if we're including them. I like it better than Modus.

As good as it is, Heady barely cracks my personal Top 10 DIPAs, and that doesn't even count IPAs or APAs. With that said, I'll never turn one down.

Think that's a testament to the quality of the new IPA's coming out nowadays
