Yep. $20 drain pour. Your sink will smell like butterscotch for a week.

Ahh, gotta love the diacetyl... Maybe the QA folks over at Green Flash were snacking on too many butterscotch candies during testing when they let that one pass

Ameristop on Fields-Ertel Rd. in the northern burbs of Cincy opened a growler fill station this weekend. It is another PEGAS counter-pressure fill system which is very nice to see.

They have an OK selection with a focus on local stuff. I got a growler of El Lupulo Libre on Sunday, but the employees didn't really know what they were doing yet. Had to call the manager who walked them through my growler fill after over-carbonating two of them.

No pints/snifter sales and no Howler fills - only 64 oz. Samples being sold for $0.80 a piece. About 15 beers on draft.

Sounds like $12 a bottle... Not impressed with this price point for this beer. Kind of a mess last time I tried it.

Did you have to drain pour your bottle?

Silva Stout is a drain pour. It was undrinkable.

Yep. Absolutely undrinkable. Would be burping up Werther's Originals for a few weeks.

That's basically what happened to me. Though I found my Silva to be more buttery on the nose and not as harsh on the palate as some have experienced, it did seem a little off. Mine didn't turn out to be a drain pour, but was a disappointing $20 stout. I ended up finishing it while eating cooked meat/cheese/veggies which seemed to improve the taste. Fingers crossed yours is drinkable.

I thought El Lupulo was going to be bottled at some point (maybe part of a mixed pack?). Anyone?

Yeah it was supposed to be a mixed 6 pack of 2 Lupulo Libre, 1 Kitka, 1 4 Cs, and I can't remember the others. I was just thinking about this the other day. I haven't seen anything about this in a while.

It was reported in March, due sometime this month, not sure if it's been delayed or not. They still have half of the month to get it to shelves and be on time though!

I think the Kitka 6pack might have replaced this. Not to mention All for One and Awesome being packaged in huge quantities.

Does anyone have a current production volume for TBK? I would be interested to see where they stand compared to the rest of the NEOH folks.
