Awesome! One of my favorite beers of the last 5 years. I attempted to clone it home brewing , close - ish , but decent.
Do not BBA this fine brew!

There is a tequila version coming from what I heard a few months back. It's already aging.

Great on tap, we like dit better that way than in the bottle, but would put the money up for it again.

I'm really into BA stuff... but not for this one. the reason I like it so much is because it's a bit lighter... not as overwhelming heavy as a BA stout. The flavor is fresh... and BA would contradict that.

I think BA would take away from it, not add....

You may be right, but Stone has strong production capabilities, so no reason to think they couldn't brew enough to distribute as much as last time and have some in reserve to BA. May be worse, may be better. We will never know...unless they give it a shot. At the very least they could do a small run to have on tap at the brewery or special event and see how it is received.

This beer was super thin, an imperial version (preferably barrel aged) would be very interesting

I'm totally going to grab more if given the opportunity. I love that stuff! I hope it's as good as the first batch!

I really liked this one; my wife, not so much. I'm excited if they brew it again. I'll do Xocoveza 2.0!

Wish I could've made the tap takeover at Aces this weekend...but I did enjoy myself in SoCal either way!

Good to hear because I still have one bottle in the back of the fridge that stares at me everyday. I guess I can drink it now if Stone is going to make more.

if you have any master of diguise shelf turds nearby, snatch one and toss a pickled pepper in it of your choice. i used pickled habanero slices. tastes very similar to xoco for those of you who need a fix.

I just went to a shop this past Friday and they still have cases of the first release of this.

Hope this is true and they at the very least make this an annual seasonal. Please don't bother putting this in a barrel, the beer is just fine 'as is'.

Agreed so completely.... But apparently it wasn't their recipe, so who knows if they ever will bring it back.
