You could do Bacon Advocate. There's thick cut smoked bacon, free range heritage woodland organic hog belly, turkey bacon, cured and uncured bacon, popcorn bacon, boiled bacon, fried bacon, bacon fritters......Damn, Forrest, what were those others?!

 

Holy shit this hobby is really dominated by dudes. At least on this board. I mean I figured that was the case, but wow.

 

Step up to the plate dudettes . I see lots of females enjoying craft around here . Maybe the ladies in general tend not to be BA members ?!

While they are not on BA, @niner99 and I drag our wives to a lot of beer festivals! This is at last summers Michigan Brewers Fest. And no, as I posted a pic of us earlier, this is NOT myself or Niner! I think "Hops Man" and "Big Blue Man" liked them! Lol! I think "Hops Man" is copping a feel of my wife and the girl in the back likes watching! Thank god for the "cool" wives that let us do this crazy hobby!

There are some very cool and cogent female participants around here, but more would help civilize this place even a bit more. Women have always been my best friends and I'm better for it! I'm pleased that girls and women are around 50% of the populace and that they speak out more all of the time. We need them badly!

For a visit with my youngest, I can eschew beer for week. don't worry we made up for it when we got to Europe.

 

Count me in this fortunate category. Don't ask me how or why it happened, but I'll take it.
I'd rather be unattractive and have other, more attractive people to look at all day than the opposite.

 

Beautiful dog. I love Setters. I grew up with Pointers, raised Goldens, always harbored dogs in need, and had Labs for about 20 years. This is Otis the Treeing Walker Coonhond. This is the smartest dog that I've ever had and he's a fabulous challenge. That's Greta turning away and she is so sweet I am amazed!

Had to post one with the girlfriend, who is a dormant BA member, and does help me with my beer drinking (or vice-versa), does that count? Also had to find one before we began our decline into complete out-of-shape-ness. So this is at the Grand Canyon before the 2012 GABF.


I've grown out the full beard (thought it was a requirement to join BA) which somehow makes my face look more chubby, not sure how it also affects how my belly looks. Need to lose the 20 lbs I've gained since then, plus a couple more (shaving the beard probably won't get me all the way there).

P.S. I am apparently old enough to need to concentrate to make a selfie.

Me and my sisters in Denver this past February. I am wearing the blue sun glasses. I have converted my sisters to be fellow beer drinkers luckily.

And me solo last September in Amsterdam where lots of good beer was had, but not pictured.

 

I'm a member of the "married up" club as well. Although she thinks my time on BA is kinda goofy, she does dig all the cool beers we've come across (she loves IPAs, Belgians and Sours, doesn't much care for stouts or porters though). Here's a pic of the Wife and I on the rooftop at Coors Field.
