    I had a bottle this weekend, and like you I haven't had The Stoic. Also agree, that beer is VERY good.

    Just finished off a second bottle of Kona's Fire Rock pale ale (also my 40th beer review, so I guess that's sorta kinda some kind of milestone... or does it not count until I get to 50? XD)

    Appreciating this one a lot more than the first one I had the other day -- it's not as hoppy as other pale ales I've had, but that toasted bread-crust/bran-flake tasting malt in this one is really nice, and I was able to pick up a bit more of the hops (citrusy and... a bit leafy?) than I did the last time. Not my favorite of the pale ales I've tried, but I have to say that the toasted, bran-flake type thing this one had going on is probably the best malt flavor I've had in a pale ale, even passing Sierra Nevada's -- I could see it being really great if only the hops stood out more than they do in the bottles I've had so far.

    Gahan Iron Bridge Brown Ale (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island). Oddly roasty for a brown ale (at least the brown ales i'm used to) but being a big fan of stouts/porters, I quite enjoyed it. The coffee/nutty roastiness was well balanced with a molasses sweetness. Two thumbs up from this guy.
