I know the head brewer/co-owner of Black Cloister, which I believe is pretty close to the Mud Hens stadium, just opened a couple months ago. Cheers!

I do love Black Cloister, and it's a block from the stadium, so that's been a definite improvement. The titles are interesting, but I believe they consider Bob their head brewer. If you're down here, it's definitely worth checking out.

 

Yep, Bob is a good friend of my parents. I'll be back in Ohio in June, and my dad and I plan to take a trip up there.

Here's one with my then girlfriend, now fiance drinking some Sucks! at last year's Beer Circus at Lagunitas Chicago. What a change a year has made with all the tanks and the taproom going in!



And a more recent one from last weekend at the top of Yosemite Falls with a banquet beer in hand. What a view! I changed jobs in the meantime which has allowed me to let the beard grow out. Thankfully the Mrs. doesn't seem to mind
