Anybody hear anything about this? I assume it'll be Crooked Stave Artisans doing the distro if it makes it here. Any rumors?

I read on another Framboos specific thread on BA, from early March, that there were ~3000 bottles and 1/3 stayed in Belgium. Could just be a rumor but it would be brilliant if it wasn't...

Any news on this front? I've traded for one but would love to just spend actual currency on it. Did Shelton get to the Mississippi river and just dump every last bottle on STL?

Saw a picture of Framboos, Mamouche, and Lou Pepe Kriek from someone in Denver. Looks like it has landed.

Any idea where these might be landing? The usual suspects are suspiciously quiet on the Belgian front.

So Crooked Stave is the distro arm for Shelton on these?

Sadly, when it comes to where the first 2 rules of Fight Club tend to prevail in CO. And this is spoken from a guy who's in the same boat as you...

Every time it hits town it's quiet, but you see it popping up here and there... This time... I've heard zero, so my assumption is that it'll hit the stores in at least a week or two.

Being from the Springs, I fully assume it doesn't leave Denver. So... What are the chances I get enough warning to drop everything and make a drive?

For reference, I asked Mr. B's a week or two ago, and offered to spend some time/money becoming one of their "good lambic customers" for future releases. They told me (and to their credit, I appreciate the honesty) I'd probably have better luck with etregourmet or similar. Le sigh.

So apparently Mr B's, Mondo Vino, and Proof W&S got some yesterday. Don't know what, if any, is still left.

Called Mondo Vino, and they said they didn't get any.

Called Mr. B's and they said they sold it only to their best customers (in other words, kept it for themselves).

    Called Proof, and it's gone...

Mondo definitely got some, but apparently it promptly sold out yesterday.

I'm making a joke... but I'm basing it on my experience going there to buy some Parabola -- they were down to their last couple of boxes, and I commented that it went pretty fast, and the guy behind the counter said, "Well, we kept a few cases for ourselves and this is what was left."

It's their prerogative to do so.

I suspect they meant they held on to cases to sell later. I know that they didn't keep the Cantillon for themselves.

"...kept a few cases for ourselves" is pretty specific. Like I said, it's their prerogative to do so.

Insert obligatory post from one of us "old timers" about how you could buy Cantillon by the caseload at any one of a dozen stores 5-6 years ago
