I know gen Admin starts at 7. But there is not end time, how does this usually work? Just until the brews run out?

I'm pretty sure there's an end time. I thought it was at 10 last year, maybe 11. I really think I would have stayed longer than I did last year if there wasn't an end time. I did drink through every thing but think I would have gone back through on some things if there'd been no end time at all.

This will be my first time for this event (and in Asheville period)! I'm looking forward to going and pouring delicious Avery beers for everyone

We are looking for a few good volunteers willing to pour great beers at this sold out event. Please shoot me a message if you can provide some assistance on July 18.

Has anyone posted a potential tap list?

Any bottle shares planned for Friday or possibly Saturday before the event? I think that sound very fun, but no idea if there is interest and where we could have a get together?

Passed on past Asheville Funk and general Pints for Prostates events, I think having a bottle share on Saturday previous to the festival is a bad idea

The festival starts in the evening, so if there was a place where we could gather a couple hours prior to the event for a bottle share sounds fun to me.

Was the tap list ever post in advance, or after last years festival? Just curious as to what is coming, or might be expected.

I don't remember when (or if) it was posted last year. I do remember every single brewery that was there having at least one beer that I was very interested in, if not both (or all in the case of a couple breweries that brought more than 2 beers like Natty Greene's and New Belgium).

    Highlights from last year?

My highest rated beers from last Funk (in order I drank them, not in order that I liked them):
    Crooked Stave St Bretta Spring
    Wicked Weed Oblivion
    Avery Rufus Corvus
    Allagash Mattina Rossa
    Natty Greene's American Sour
    Stillwater Gose Gone Wild
    Green Bench Colliding Galaxies

The three biggest highlights for me were Mattina Rossa (probably my favorite beer of the evening, so glad that bottles of this made it to NC this year), Rufus Corvus (hadn't had many of Avery's sours previously), and American Sour (did NOT realize that Natty Greene's put out stuff like this and they had a wide lineup of stuff almost as good as this... was eye-opening).

Anybody know what the food situation is like? I'm thinking maybe a food truck or too but assuming probably best idea is to have a good dinner before.

Dinner before is a good idea. I think there's some apps somewhere (I think I saw some last year) and there might have been a food truck, but can't remember.

Any word yet on what sours each brewery is bringing?

Natty Greene's will be bringing at least 6, at least one of which will be poured for the first time ever.
