    Just my educated guess now that you mention it do recall catching smallies that had reds eyes. Who knows impressive fish non the less.

    Some nice fish in your pic too. Those white/yellow bass?

    The other thing with fish that needs to be considered is they will take on different names in difference regions of the country...this actually happens much more than people realize...cheers to great fishing and great brews!
