    Splitting this one with one of my brothers. A little sweet, but a super viscous, velvety mo fo with very smooth coffee. 11.5% not even remotely noticeable. 2 Trillium beers so far, and both were great. Thanks @paresis.

    Good morning BAs! Here on New Beer Saturday another from my south of Buffalo haul:

    This appeals to my taste (or lack thereof). It has a pleasing caramel/toffee flavor but I'm not detecting any hints of oak or bourbon. I don't even mind the syrupy consistency - it's just good and the rest of the sixer will be aged.

    Gotta post this too - saw something very similar at Cleveland about 5 years ago:

    My fridge was almost bare (of beer, anyway; that's what matters), and I had no IPAs on hand that I really wanted to drink. With modest hopes, I hit up my corner bottle store....only to find Sucks in 6 packs and 4 packs of Hoptimum!

    It's a battle of '14 Xocoveza and '15 Mexican Cake. They're both really good, but Xoco brought a knife to this gunfight. Dang, that fresh Cake is spicy!! Cheers!
