Drinking Bull and Bush CBC # 2 , BA Ice Cream Clone Stout now (my last one). I can't say this one aged well (bottled 9/10/14), it's missing pretty much everything I originally liked about it. It's only 6%, so maybe the lower ABV didn't make it a good candidate for aging. The barrel wasn't real strong to begin with, but it was there. Not so much anymore.

I'd strongly suggest buying the next batch that comes out, but drink it ASAP.

Guess I was hoping it aged like Liquid Brain. I drank '13 with a year on it and it was amazing. I have 1 '13 left and a few '14s. I'll do a 3 year vert when '15 comes out, hoping that the '13 keeps keeping on.

TRVE is releasing Whiskey Funeral tomorrow, imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels I believe. Hoping to grab a few bottles after lunch.

Looking forward to grabbing a couple bottles. I missed Liquid Funeral, but the description sounds right in my wheelhouse. Then aged in whiskey barrels .. yes please.

Are you allowed to say which distillery the barrels came from?

Most of their BA beers are aged in Law's Whiskey barrels, including this one. Hopefully it's on tap today too so I can taste it before sending it out to my trading partners.

Ahh yes, looking at the pic they posted it is indeed Laws.

Have they announced a bottle limit?

I'm proud to confirm that it was aged in Laws barrels.

We didn't have enough yield on this to do another keg. What I can say is that while I love a subtle whiskey-barrel-aged stout, this is not that beer. You will smell and taste the glorious work Laws has done (filled the barrels two-days after they were emptied) along side our stout (it's like a whiskey-covered chocolate coffee bean, I think).

Good to hear. I rarely do subtle.

I couldn't tell from the pic, but I'm guessing they are 375ml bottles? Price per bottle? I just want to know how much to dent my account

No worries. 375ml bottles. There will be a limit of 4/person, and they are $8/bottle. We open at 2pm. Thanks for the interest!

Edit: we take cash and cards. No checks, or, despite popular belief, first-born children.

Baere has a wine barrel aged imperial stout that's pretty good.

While not bottled, I'll give a shout out to the Woodford Reserve stout at the Chophouse. It's an oatmeal stout that's blended 50/50 with a BA version of itself. It's excellent and has just enough barrel character to shine, while remaining drinkable.
The old version of this beer used to just be 100% barrel aged and it was overbearing for something only around 6% ABV.
I don't think they carry this version at the airport location, but it seems to be permanently on at the Lodo location.
