Didn't see this posted yet. The fall seasonals have been added to the NG Beer Schedule:

    Staghorn Octoberfest
    Laughing Fox
    Home Town Blonde - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/590/3149

Glad to see the Laughing Fox make another appearance. Interesting to see the Home Town Blonde back after 4 (?) years.

Looking forward to the return of Hometown Blonde, although I wish it would've been Edel Pils instead.

There is no update to the Thumbprint schedule. I believe there will be two more Thumbprint releases this year. Despite how tasty it is, I'll be somewhat disappointed if they do Apple Ale for the third year in a row.

Give me Enigma, Kriek, and Cranbic and you can keep the rest!

It would be cool if they switched between Cranbic and Apple every year

I would allow this if Enigma would be year round!

Does anybody know for sure what the next thumbprint is? Or, have any news on the R&D series?

The guys at Riley's in Madison said they heard Enigma is going to be the next thumbprint release.

I talked to Marie at Discount as well as Matt (the guy from Beechwood that's usually at Discount stocking the shelves), and neither of them had any details on the R&D Release. Definitely for GTMW. The speculation is that it would be a sour of some sort, but it seems that NG and their sales reps are keeping a tight lid on it.

That just means it is going to be crazy. I can't wait to see what Dan comes up with. Other than that, really looking forward to Staghorn. Probably my favorite beer of all time. Plus it means it is fall and football season.

Also hoping that the next R&D beer is released coinciding with Great Taste of the Midwest, still have a bottle left of the first R&D Gueuze waiting for a side by side comparison.

Looking forward to hometown blonde as I generally enjoy the Pilsners that come out of New Glarus (for the love of God please bring back Bohemian Pilsner next year).

Not very excited for Laughing Fox. It was a decent beer last year, but I can't ever see the situation that I'd rather have Laughing Fox than Dancing Man. Crack'd Wheat would have been the far superior choice in my opinion, but so it goes.

Never the less looking forward to picking up a bunch of New Glarus to drink in Minnesota while looking for that 52+ inch Muskie in September.

    Cheers!

I really hope they release it during the week like they had last time. I would be able to use the only benefit known to working overnight, being able to get there at about 7 in the AM.

I grew to appreciate the Laughing Fox, but it's definitely the lesser compared to Dancing Man Wheat.

I miss the heck out of Crack'd Wheat. All we can do is keep voting for its return each year!

Apple ale was released a few times already, I'm want something different for a change!

Not sure why its taking them longer to release their thumbprint schedule and they're pretty "closed lip" if you email them as they won't say much, other than that's top secret information. (though a small part of me likes the suspense)
I'm guessing they'll reveal it around the 3rd week of August like they did in June with the Saison.

I was at the brewery 3 weeks ago and the young girl from their beer shop at the bottom had no idea what I was talking about, regarding the R&D, as her reaction was to point out their regular beer schedule.

And speaking of voting...New Glarus Brewing
Thought about doing a separate thread for this but it might as well belong here.

Interesting. I had thought that they aged Enigma in large oak foudres, not individual barrels.
