I was watching Sundays episode of Silicon Valley on HOB and it looked like Guilfoyle was drinking an Old Rasputin (straight out of the bottle like a boss). The characters on the show often have beers. Anyone notice what they're drinking?
Yes. You're very observant. At least twice. If you watched the Episode a week earlier, Sculpin was mentioned verbally and the Sculpin poster is visible numerous times in their living room. As one who lives in Belmont, I can tell you Facebook & Google has special Pliny deliveries that no other "distributor" here has access to.
I remember Sculpin being mentioned. I don't remember seeing the poster. Thanks. I am going to have to back and see it.
I haven't watched the show, but I live the real thing. Lots of people I work/worked with are big beer nerds.
Glad to see this thread. I swear I've seen a ballast point bottle in almost every episode. It's a pretty well crafted and intelligent comedy for Mike Judge. Best casting for a recent comedy in awhile. TJ Miller works perfect here. Any one remember Party Down? Martin Starr is awesome in that too. Zach Woods does an incredible job playing Jared. His quirky awkwardness makes me cringe, but in a good way.
