I was lucky enough to have a 4 day old Zombie Dust and a 6 day old Citra this week and I've got to say that Citra blew me away. I didn't have them side by side but in my opinion, Citra is what all the hype makes you belive Zombie Dust tastes like.

Even if you think I'm out of my mind, Citra is an awesome beer.

I have not yet had Zombie Dust. But you are correct about Oddside Citra. It's a very good beer.

It didn't do much for me. Buts that's probably because I bought it as a single at meijer.

Citra was amazing, I keep meaning to pick up more. One of the juiciest IPAs I've had, I'm pretty sure I've reviewed it as something that would go great with breakfast. Odd Side has been knocking it out of the park with me lately.

    Does Oddside date their bottles?

Nah, they just sleep with them and don't call the next day.

They do - usually on the right side of the label in very questionable black ink stamp in a haphazard vertical...

Absolutely agree that it's better than Zombie Dust.

I really do think Odd Side might have a claim to being the third-best brewery in Michigan before long. Along with Dark Horse and Jolly Pumpkin, I think they're the easiest choice to round out a personal top five list (which of course starts with Bell's and Founders, despite the hayterz).

Citra was my first introduction to their work and that's an excellent first impression. Plus it's not like IPAs are the only things they do well ... Mayan Mocha Stout (regular and BBA), Morningwood, and Hipster Brunch Stout are all phenomenal, and Brown Cow and Ain't No Sunshine When Saison are great examples of their respective styles.

They do have a few brews that I don't like (was not a fan of that Pineapple IPA, and Catalina Wine Mixer was ... really, really weird) but all in all these guys put out great stuff.

Citra is my favorite pale of late, just delicious. I've had the opposite where the Zombie Dust I had was a bit old and decent, so it would be interesting to taste them both equally fresh.

Having both repeatedly, ZD > CPA, easily IMO. I do think CPA is a great beer, but more of a ZD light.

Odd Side has definitely become one of my top 10 favorite breweries in MI. Was really hoping to try Imperial Citra over the weekend, but it kicked the day before we got there.

Imperial Citra sounds great - hope they bottle that sometime soon.

I really dug their Bourbon Barrel Aged Citra Pale Ale they bottled last year. I originally thought it was a strange beer to barrel age, but it really worked for me. Still sitting on my last bottle. Fingers crossed it gets re-released.

Citra was excellent but I had some bottles that had some weird carb issues.

My experience with BBA Citra wasn't so good. I purchased a four pack and I kept picking up a funny taste that I haven't had in a beer before. I finally figured it out on the third beer. It tasted like my mom's sauerkraut.

I thought the exact opposite...that Z-Dust was Citra light. Oh well.

    They are both great.

I have one bottle left as well. The Bourbon flavor has held up pretty well.

Questionable indeed, I have faint indentations on the six pack I just picked up. Can't even read it on 2 of the bottles.

Citra was my hoppy "gateway" beer. I bought it thinking I was getting a "citrus" flavored beer.

It turned out to be that, but in the non-adjunct best way possible.

Before I thought hops meant pine tree bitter, but Citra launched me into New World fruity hops.

Now I can't get enough IBUs. I had a Citra recently and wasn't overwhelmed. But it matters not. Genie is out of the bottle now

Just bought a bottle and it says MFG03/ 8/15. Does that mean it was brewed on August 15th(2014) or 3 months before August 15th (~15 days old)
