CANBIF Spring 2015 - Hints and Hauls

Sorry about the delay !

Wow @FondueVoodoo ...just wow.....Thank You!! Every single beer was a want of mine, some brand new and one or two favourites I didn’t think I would see again. This is a perfect box for me, a great IPA or two, some nice and funky wine barrel aged stuff, a big fat RIS, some bourbon barrel aged goodness and a bag of marshmallows!!!





The deets:

• Driftwood Naughty Hildagard (Big want; Canada Top 100)
• Logsdon Far West Vlaming (Long time want and my favourite style)
• De Garde Saison Quatrieme (Boo Yah!!! Wow, thank you!!)
• 4W Juxtapose (Long time want)
• Moon Under Water Hip as Funk (Really excited to try!)
• Moon Under Water Sange du Merle (Absolutely loved this beer; didn’t think I’d see it again!!)
• Tilquin Oude Gueuze a l’ancienne (Long time want)
• Central City BBA Thor’s Hammer (I can smell the bourbon and malt through the bottle, yum...!)
• Howe Sound Pothole Filler (Big want; Canada Top 100)
• Dageraand 10 (Seen Dageraand in previous CANBIFs and always wanted to try)
• Breakside IPA (Oh hells yah, gimma West Coast IPA!!)
• Logsdon Seizon Bretta (Saison with Brett, wine barrels and age...yes please!!)
• And of course the stout marshmallows!!! As most fat kids can say, I have had my share of S’mores; these ones ranked at the top!!

What else can I say but thank you for a perfect box!! You outdid yourself, I am indebted. Cheers!

 

Matt, that isn't the regular Tilquin Gueuze, its the squared version, second barrel aging, higher abv, yada yada... even better though!

Glad the box landed safely Matt and that you like it. IPA's are all fresh so start there

I have it on good authority that at least 2 other boxes landed yesterday. One in ON and one in QC. Please check your mailboxes.

There may be a few left still but they are going fast ! I will pull some aside for next Friday (or a quick coffee meet-up sooner). They are really good!

Damon you are a gentleman. Like if it was not enough to send marshmallows that you didn't had time to make last CanBIF (you had really good reasons to) but he also sent me two beers!!!

And man, are those beermallows addictive, they won't last long around here.
