For those fans of the funk that Brett can provide, what are your go to beers when you're looking for a Brett fix?

If only sanctification was more available and affordable. :slight_frown:

So until then, rayon vert is great.

Orval since that can be found pretty much everywhere. Rayon Vert if I can find it in this crap ass state.

    Pretty much what's been said:
    Saison Brett
    Orval
    Rayon Vert
    GI brett offerings
    In that order.
Side note: does Saison Dupont use Brett? Seems like it does. That's pretty high up on the list if it does.

Yep, Orval and then Rayon Vert. I'm lucky in that I have a hole-in-the-wall local liquor store with cases of 4-6 year old Orval that NOBODY buys except me.

The Anchorage stuff is great but too expensive to be a "go-to."

I have a case of Orval for "special occasions" and bottles of Rayon Vert for "everyday drinking." I'm not concerned about drinking Rayon fresh because of the brett... I know it will develop different characteristics over time. So it's the best of all worlds. Affordable, satisfies my hop cravings when fresh, and just gets more interesting as time goes on.

Seizon-Bretta is awesome. I always send it out as extras in trades and everyone ends up loving to. Even though it is classified on here as an American Wild Ale, their Peche' and Brett is incredible. It is definitely more of a Brett beer then a wild ale. Can't be go to though since there was so little but into distribution. Luckily I got one for the cellar
