I would guess he's seen people offering Sip of Sunshine and others asking for Framboos 11. It's a new beer, and as always it'll be all over the place. Let people try it outside of south Florida and see if it's worth the hype. Hard to believe a Berliner is, wpbut what do I know.

it was the beer that stole the show at What the Funk back in 2012? and basically helped him launch his brewery

Ha. I was thinking it was DogFish (head) Festina Peche and mistyped the anagram. I need to get out more.

Whatever happened to spelling out the entire name of a beer?

I hear you @BEERschlitz. I feel like I spend an unhealthy amount of time on this site and I'm still constantly running into abbreviations where I have absolutely no clue. Glad I'm not the only one!

FWIW, DFPF is how the beer is known.

Basically some people are trying to make up for the fact that they got dicked around for 2 years after dropping 300 dollars on a membership.

Others realize it's a fruited berliner from a brewery that's been open for 3 months, and has leaking issue, and isn't the same as the batch that put wakefield on the map, so they are putting up reasonable offers.

gotta love people deleting their closed DFPF FT after you posted something about the leaking bottles.

Last week I shipped two 12 bottle shippers to Chicago area OG's. All of the bottles, in both shippers, arrived yesterday with no issues. The bottles caps were re-tightened at the brewery prior to shipping.

You brought the bottles to the brewery for retightening before you shipped?

From what I've heard, the Wakefield stay is retightening them when you pick up your bottles at the brewery.
