    Has anyone tried the recently released Maggie's Blackberry Cobbler yet? Thoughts? I couldn't find any talk about it on here. I just stumbled upon a bottle and grabbed it and tried a small sample.

    I swear, ever since coors took over distro for terrapin, other states see their special releases before Georgia even does. Not even out down here.

    I picked up a few bottles today too and can't wait to try it. I'm curious to see what others think of it. I love Terrapin!

    It was a 1 bottle limit, and there was only 1 bottle on the shelf behind the counter. Though I have a feeling they pull out another each time they sell one, so I'm going to wear a hat and check back tomorrow!

    I worded that poorly. The guy behind the counter had just opened a bottle and when I bought it he offered me a sample.

    I read somewhere that if terrapin put as much effort into their beer as they did their labels, it would be the best brewery in the world. I tend to agree.

    I'm not a Terrapin fanboy but it's pretty damn good. Tons of sweetness and smells absolutely amazing. For some reason, I thought it would have more farmhouse funk but I guess the sweetness overpowers it a bit.

    @JStampler, were you able to perceive any of the graham cracker aroma or flavor that was indtended to replicate a cobbler crust?

    To be honest, no. But keep in mind I had a very small sample, probably an ounce, and it was fresh out of the fridge cold. I can see those kind of flavors coming out as it warms a bit.

    I'll probably buy every bottle I see of this and if past reserve series beers are an indication that will probably be a lot of bottles.

    Maggies Farmhouse was a favorite as a side project, then as a seasonal, then cans, and now a reserve series based on that...gimme gimme gimme.

    seems like everywhere that gets terrapin will get some. Tends to be fairly limited in most places, but they have started to hold back more for Georgia. At least it seems like. The later releases were definitely easier to get than the first couple of releases.
