    Just finished this, but GF and I were really impressed. No review on the beer but the balance of malt, fruit, hops worked well for us. Piraat Triple-hopped ale:

    Also had Perennial Classique tonight which was an intriguing lower-ABV beer. Also picked up some ST Choklat Oranj earlier today. Will have to check out today's posts when I get home. Cheers!

    Now i am a bit jealous. I drank a lot of Smithwick's when i was in Dublin but sadly i can't get it here.

    It's really nice, and definitely "sour" is a main component, but it doesn't linger.

    Wow! That's a miracle for the breed! My 13 year has finally slowed down and doesn't break out and take off of fenced in yard. Great with kids and never barks!

    Finally. I've waited so long for this moment. Albeit in 88F heat, it was stellar, even though I endured some shit today which I will not go into here. I have two more bottles in the cellar awaiting my beloved Fall and Winter months. Took the Bro-in-law to Hank's today. He wanted to stay there forever in that rock and roll beer soaked oasis. A bad day for Hank, however. His friend of 50 years died yesterday. He was a very cool lawyer and a craft beer guy. He always treated me like a close friend even though we hardly knew each other. RIP, Mike. We remember you as we stare into the Abyss...

    This truly is a delicious IPA. I don't understand the aversion to Stone to some. And this is one of the finest group of original talent ever put together. IMO. Enjoy....Life.[​IMG]
