Nothing. Too much rain over the last few days. Feels like March here.

 

I can honestly say I've never stayed at a motel with that kind of "room with a view," but on the plus side, you've got a conversation piece for the ages - literally.

 

Just moved into Sixpoint distro area, and I gotta say I'm loving them so far!

 

Can't ever count this one out. Always nice to revisit

 

Good Call to Pick this up to Try...Wow talk about a Killer Drinking Beer.

 

The wife always tells me, "why the fuck you drink these on a Tuesday? You put so much shit into buying these things..." She's right, you know, I can't explain it. But, damn if this isn't one of my favorites.

 

Reviews:

Very nice English IPA. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, pine, biscuit, light honey and herbal/grassy hop and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy herbal/pine bitterness on the finish; with a Smooth, crisp, and sticky finish with slight creaminess in the mouthfeel as well. Really delicious. Big earthy/citrus hoppiness out front with moderate malts and fruity yeast notes in the background. Very well done.


Delicious Kolsch style. Aromas and flavors of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish with well balanced and malt flavors and a crisp finish. Good robustness and a touch of bready creaminess in the mouthfeel probably from wheat or munich malt. Extremely smooth and clean; yeast fruitiness is noticeable but very nicely restrained giving plenty of presence to the malt and hop flavors. Really damn enjoyable. This was spot on.


This is a weizenbock aged in chardonnay and merlot barrels, Tapistry Brewing. Aromas and flavors of huge, raisin, plum, fig, date, banana, molasses, caramel, toffee, vanilla, red wine, toasted oak, clove, leather, and light chocolate. Some moderate clove spice and tannic oak bitterness on the finish; with awesome malt complexity and balance with the yeast and oak character. Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a touch of slick notes. Wow this was so outstanding. The base weizenbock tasted really awesome and the wine barrel flavors really worked well accenting those flavors. Really impressed.

lol of course we can ... but its all gone. grabbed the last two bottles from a little shop in huntington park called 2m liquor. its my go to spot since i live so close. no one knows about it lol
