Taco Bell and Beer?

    Taco Bell announced that it will start serving beer at a new Chicago location.

    There are currently no plans to roll this out nationwide, but who knows? Is this something that interests you? What kind of beer would you want to see? I really hope it's not just BMC (at least have some Goose Island, since it is Chicago). I feel like I could go for a nice hoppy IPA and some really cheap fast food!

    I don't go to Taco Bell to get drunk, I go to Taco Bell AFTER I'm already drunk, and that's pretty much the only time...

    This may be the beginning of the taco bell takeover from the movie Demolition Man..
    I imagine a company like taco bell will invest in enough research to figure out that IPA's tend to go well with spicy food. I wouldn't be surprised to see Goose Island featured.

    I can't eat taco bell sober this would be awesome if it could spread to every location.

    Starbucks piloted serving beer at a few locations a few years ago and it didn't take off. This will likely have the same fate.

    Edit: and I would try it once for the novelty, but doubt I would be a repeat customer.

    I've only ever had bad experiences at Taco Bell, alcohol could only make it marginally better or exponentially worse

    Beer at Starbucks doesn't seem like as good a match as beer and fast food, though. Just saying.

    I think it is awesome as long as it serves something other than BMC, and doesn't allow the dregs of the earth to hang out there and annoy everyone that enters...........
