Nothing exciting, but a maintenance electrician at a large hospital in Grand Rapids. Coolest part though is that, for the first time, I can actually say I love my job. Sometimes I actually want to go in! Does this really happen? Maybe it's just from being married for like 17 years... Or something...

Love these threads! I feel the bros have lightened up a bit lately. Doesn't seem like these "get to know each other" threads were allowed in the past. I got 18 pages to read though!

Shipping, updating and database upkeep of medical forms and studies used all around to world in clinical trials for HIV/AIDS research. i really dont make all that much, but i have a great group of people i work with, and im building a tenure to be able to move up in the company. almost made it for one position but the competition was ridiculous .however, the benefits are unreal. 24 days of paid time off in your first year, and im a couple months away from 2 full years. being able to take off whenever you want basically is awesome, and im taking Monday off next week because my friend is flying in on leave and we are going to have a mini beerfest Sunday. cant come into work still drunk... id be deleting shit left and right :stuck_out_tongue:. also forgot to mention i work down the street from a beer store. that's a benefit in itself

I make the beer cans that some of you may use. Started with making 8,10,12, and16oz. Now just make 24&25oz. Started this job in September of '74. I was a mere child at 22. Now I am the old man at the plant. Cheres to all for your jobs well done.

I am a project manager for a machine tools company. I work in the turning division, dealing with automated CNC lathes.

Nice to see other BA's in the metal cutting business. I figured there had to be since most of our customers are located around Chicago and Detroit.
