What do you do for a living, BAs?

Property Claims supervisor. I have a great group of claim reps that work for me which makes my job a pleasure.

 

Lighten up Francis! The poor guy lives in China for Chrissake….there's not a whole lot of good craft beer there. If you don't want to share then don't share. I've often wondered about what other BA members are like, do for a living, and even how old they are myself.

I am a Prosthetist/Orthotist which means I make/design artificial limbs and orthopedic braces. Yes "lighten up francis" is a quote by Sergeant Hulka from Stripes!

I was a SAN Interoperability Engineer (Windows) until layoffs/reorg recently. Now I am working with CIFS Systemic Testing.

I'm currently working as a music therapist and clinician in a residential home for multiply diagnosed teenage girls with histories of sexual, emotional, and physical trauma.

 

With a BS in criminal justice and minor in sociology and psychology I work for the brother of John Cougar Mellencamp for a commercial and industrial electrical company.....as the warehouse manager moving heavy equipment, wire, lights, and tools to various jobs. Every day is something new, not much drudgery. The boss man was in a band called "Pure Jam" and got his little brother into music.....also worked with the drummer of "Pure Jam" prior to his retirement.

Considering the way cops are viewed now I would say it was the right "career move".

 

I work for a telephone company in a small town with about 1100 residents. We have 6 employees. I manage the telephone and internet systems.

 

Active Duty in the US Airforce, I never even come close to touching planes..... instead I fix the navigational crap on the ground to make sure they can land though. Prior to that, full time student and auto mechanic.

 

Nothing at the moment. I had worked in college admissions/telesales for a while, but I got laid off and now I'm between jobs.

I don't know why, but I figured there'd be more people in the IT industry. Pretty diverse group though, overall.

I am a Network Operations Center Technician. I'm also working part-time towards my MBA in Information Technology. I have 7 months until completion. I plan on being a part-time Adjunct Professor on the side after my degree is completed as well.

I'm retired (read: I drink beer whenever I want ). But to give something back to my community, I do some volunteer work at a local Learning Center by tutoring students to attain their GED, plus I deliver rescued food for the Food Bank to the local food pantries in town.

 

I'm an accounting student, does that count? A little?
