I opened the box and looked at the bottle caps to see if I could recognize any. I noticed one that was very familiar, a Jester King cap. Why the hell would somebody send a Texan a Jester King beer?? I pulled the bottle out and to my amazement it was the 40oz Anniversary beer. I'm highly impressed that you all could get Jester King to brew that beer for you.

Got family in ny and nj but chances of me making it north of Asheville for he 4th are slime.

I love spares myself but the wife like loin ribs better as they aren't as fatty.
I'll smoke anything!!

Try tossing a half onion on with the lump charcoal and wood for smoke. The smell is intoxicating.

A little VBS from earlier today--Pulled 2 massively overgrown bushes and tilled everything else under. 4 hours and an aching back later, it was time for this....


Then, washed the patio furniture, made dinner, put the kids to bed, then put them to bed again, and turned on the Hawks game just in time to see them go down 4 to 3. So I drank this. (Thanks @PA-Michigander)


But, Now that the game is over, I might have to drink this...

(And FYI, that KBS is 2011!--I prefer my KBS with some age on it, but I've never had one make it past 3 years old before I drank it. Awesome--I'm glad I get the chance to try this!)

Do you mean the Terps game(s)? If so yes that was rough, really awesome to make it to two straight Super-Regionals but man, I fucking hate losing to those yuppy UVA fucks twice in a row. Bullpen was the strength all year (especially Mooney) so it sucks that was their downfall.

 

Sorry for being delinquent, I will post what I think will be a pretty decent VBS and haul later tonight or in the morning (we have company tonight). But huge shoutout to @jdhowe for an awesome box -- I guess your brief time in the Locals had a positive influence on you!!

 

I'm still like 7 fukin pages behind, hopefully I'll get caught up once the boss goes to sleep. It's been tough trying to keep up with the thread when there's a 50+ page BM going (that started 3 days ago) . You Shake Whatever The Fuck You Want boys did a great job, it's been a blast. I can't WAIT to show ya'll boys how the red headed step child gets down!

@XmnwildX12 great box bud, all new to me except the cold press and the OE (which holds a special place in my heart), I don't know how many of those MFs I drank from 8th-12th grade! I know it's kinda been mine and Brandons little secret but everyone's gonna know now. @XmnwildX12 is a huge closet Packer fan just like @blue-dream . Brandon even sent me one of his two green bay super bowl pendants. These SWTFYW guys aren't so bad after all.
