I work for a brewery and I flippin' love it. I went to culinary school originally and cooked for like eight years, but I decided to make a switch last year after my last chef job killed my love for professional cooking. The brewery job's only part time right now, but I'm hoping to one day make it full time. Which one, you ask? If you look at my previous posts, you might find hints here and there.

If you've figured out where I work...no, I can't get you free sours.

I'm also doing some part time IT for a local grade school. I was always the computer geek at cooking school. Hey, chef BAs out there; could you please for the love of god explain to your employees the necessity of antivirus software and script blockers!?

If we were on Imgur, I'd be replying with several 'shut up and take my upvotes' images right now.

Unfortunately, the Chinese just have no idea what good beer is! Because of the large number of German expats working for BMW, there are some German dunkelweiss, schwarzbiers, and a few others imported here (which is good for me ). But, the Chinese I have come in contact with think dunkelweiss and Schwarz are the same! They just call each style "black beer". Also, Chinese are quite superstitious, so they don't refrigerate ANY drinks in the winter because they think drinking cold drinks in the winter will get them sick. In fact, they turn coolers off! So, there is a lot of cheap adjunct, warm, yellow, fizzy Snow beer everywhere. Yuck! Chinese drink warm beer out of shot glasses at dinner, too. They shoot it like as if it were a shot. Interesting experience, but not my preferred beer drinking method. Cheers!

Wow, heavy stuff. I applaud your willingness to help innocent victims in such a creative way. Music can heal, or soothe all wounds, IMO. You need a beer. Cheers!

Off work hours I donate my time to train circus elephants to use their trunks to masturbate, it blows their minds like every time.

I also work in an engineering firm, which is not as exciting.

Right out of high school I was a fireman for four years but broke my back in three places, literally, so I chose to stop. Then was in construction/ painting for a while. Currently I am a cook, specifically Italian.

I also was before I got injured and couldn't do it anymore. I miss it, but had to move on. Cheers.

Thanks man. I basically do multiple jobs. I do music therapy, talk therapy, and I also do exercise and wellness therapy. Run groups, case management, all sorts of things. It's not easy, but so important.

Admittedly read only a portion of the posts in this thread, but saw a few of my brethren - fellow pharmacists!

Also as the avatar indicates, part time job is fan of a storied but newly-troubled college basketball mainstay. I mean what's the big deal with "paper classes" anyway??

I am an avocado grower and also oversee the construction of beautiful landscapes and parks.
The latter makes more money, but I enjoy the avocado farming the most.

If that's your passion in life, you should try turning it into a full time gig. Other peoples opinions be damned.
