My family lives in Pinellas Point (right on the water, south of St. Pete). We're visiting them for the week, and somehow convinced them to watch our 3 year old for 2 days so we could come stay here and get a mini vaca in a vaca lol.

Beautiful area and hotel, we will definitely be back. Maritana restaurant last night was top notch, and now a day of beach and ...other... Things.

Any recommendations for a good place for a more relaxed dinner than last night? Bonus points for good beer selection!

 

I don't get over there much but from what I have seen your best bet for beer is the ABC right there. Not much for restaurants with good beer though. For that you would need to head over to downtown St Pete.

Well, @PassMeAZima got me! Asked a while back if anyone was looking for ADWTD and i responded but figured others had beat me to it. All this other stuff is extra. I just cracked a heller heaven last night and it was really good! Thanks brotha. You outdid yourself per usual!

NoDa Coco Loco Porter -- this was a want back from when my Locals BIF sender was from North Carolina, I totally forgot it was on there but I'm looking forward to it -- Porter in a can is a new concept to me too

Wicked Weed Black Angel -- another want, delicious sounding sour

Firestone Walker 2013 Parabola -- I've had Parabola on my wants for a while, and some other folks have also sent it to me, I STILL haven't tried it yet. And now I'm psyched because I have a mini (3-year) vertical. I love the style, love the brewer, and am sure I'll love the beer.

SWTFYW 40 oz -- what can I say that hasn't already been said?

Terrapin French Toasted Wake 'n Bake -- I got this one via the 12 days of xmas BIF last year, and the easiest way to tell you how much I liked it is that I am guessing I have less than 10 beers on my wants list that I've already had (I'm usually more interested in variety), if I drink it and keep it as a want that means I loved it; this one qualifies.

Russian River Consecration -- another want, for obvious reasons

So 5 out of 6 ain't bad, and this is an absolutely amazing box -- thanks a ton Josh -- you SWTFYW guys aren't so bad after all

PS -- nice decorating job on the envelope too, and I'm not sure if were the only one with a typo in the letter, but I spent way too much trying to figure out what "yomhouserur VBS" was...

I feel like a mental patient...can't get the damn thing off my mind. You never realize how connected to these fucking devices we are till you can't use them. Worst case, looks like I'm headed to AT&T tomorrow to give them another $700...yay!
