Grimm of the Future

It'll hold up decently well, but I don't see any point in aging it... it won't get any better than it is now, in our opinion. We are very interested in observing how these hoppy sours age and so far it appears that they maintain their hop flavors far better than an IPA would. That's not an endorsement of aging it however.

Interestingly Cloudbusting is tasting better right now than it did in its first week.

In a little under two weeks our Simcoe DIPA will be ready. Today we are at Beltway brewing Psychokinesis -- it's a sequel to Telekinesis but with more/different hops, more oak, and more acidity. The main hops are El Dorado and Mosaic but there's also a bit of Jarrylo, Citra, and Falconers.

 

@Grimm_Artisanal_Ales Any plans on canning down the road? I think Super Going would be awesome in cans. Could drink that all day at the beach.

 

Agreed. Freaking love this beer. Just reviewed it tonight and I wish I could drink the beer all summer.

No, but it was a pretty cool thing. You saw them at Paradiso right? Josh, the beverage person, brought us in to do an off-Savor event with Allagash. He personally drove to both of our host breweries to pick up some of these kegs! Dedicated and awesome dude.

That place is great. We ate lunch there this week on our way back from brewing at Beltway. Sick beer list.

We've also occasionally dropped kegs at Churchkey.

 

Yep--the Paradiso in DuPont. Great beers; Supergoing was just what I needed on a 95 degree day. Always nice to unexpectedly try some out-of-market stuff.
