    So strange... no one told me I was being irresponsible on the same Sunday when I met a friend at a bar at the same time (11:00 AM EST) for lunch and a couple beers! But afterwards my friend and I were going to a matinee of Mad Max: Fury Road, not an international financial conference...although, Obama's beer with Angela Merkle might have greased some wheels of commerce, whereas mine just made me need to pee during the movie.

    Why should he be receiving flak for having a beer with breakfast? He's in southern Germany at the moment, and there, it's not unusual to have a beer with breakfast.

    Not a good look for a leader, especially of the USA. Really undercuts the gravitas the POTUS should have. You would never have seen Reagan drinking in the morning!

    I really hate when people rag on him for stupid stuff like this, especially when there so many legitimate reasons for criticism. Maybe he should use this opportunity to try and normalize alcohol consumption back home instead of continuing to support the puritanical views we still have today.
