What's your favorite BA thread topic?

    Everyone avoids certain thread titles, just as they gravitate towards others. What type of thread do you usually start eavesdropping on? Do y'all have any type of routine when you log on?

    For example: I typically go Beer Talk>Midwest>Beer and Food>Beer News> then hop around a bit.

    I check for new threads, and avoid the cliché threads like the plague. Whatever sparks my interest is, however, pretty arbitrary.

    I'm a little bit concerned that responding to this question could rupture the space/time continuum. But I guess there's only one way to find out.

    But I absolutely love the "my region is better than your region" threads. Those are just like a car wreck, you can't look away.

    The top 10 lists of your favorite beers where 80% of them aren't available in my area really piss me off. The great lakes regional forum is much more interesting to me but there's not as much action

    I couldn't help but lol cuz this reminded me of a guest speaker we had at my school once. He was a medieval times re-enactor type who brought a horse / full knight body armor / weapons. One of the students asked "Are you real?"
    His response was priceless: "Well, I occupy both time and space. So, ... yes!" Among an audience of several hundred teenagers and a handful of teachers I may've been the only person that laughed.

    I don't doubt it. The absurdity of the question coupled with the fact the guy didn't bat an eye before answering is what I was really laughing at. Oh well those crickets they missed out too.

    Anything that starts with a good old fashioned rant. Especially the "price gouging" ones where you'd think the store owner was holding a gun to their head and that's why they purchased the 3x marked up bottle

    I love beer talk for threads. I think that we all sigh a little when we see the same old, same old but then it's a chance to really be a BA and remember that we were all noobs once. It's those repetitive threads that have taught me a lot about tasting beer. Those are the questions I also had and that others will have as they join this party. I like how even a silly sounding thread can provoke all kinds of learned opinions. I am a lurker in that I have started only one or two threads on BA. I admire the people who get things going. I also really like the fun threads like the selfies and such. =)

    I really enjoy the local threads. I would say the Other Half thread is my favorite.
