What's your favorite BA thread topic?

Same here. WBAYDN.....

 

That one just pisses me off, cuz I realize all the delicious brews everyone else out there is scoring that I don't have and will probably never have

 

I try not to judge, as I rarely start threads, so I dig them all in some way shape or form, but only participate if I feel my response is a contribution, or have a smart ass comment that I'm sure no one else will get.
That being said, I love those 5 year old threads that pop up, and peeps respond like the op is still active on BA, and fairly despise the hypothetical "if you were stuck on an island" type.

A thread about threads.... it's like the movie Inception on Beer Advocate. Beerception perhaps.

 

I always enjoy the "what's the difference between a Stout and a Porter" threads.

What beer works best for getting out those tough stains? Which beer is best to turn my BMC loving cat into a BA? Does anyone else agree that such and such beer has really gone downhill this year? Hey check out the 2000 beers I have stashed in my basement that no one will ever drink in their prime as they sit down here and waste away.

 

I love the "should I try this beer that has been aged/is old but randomly found on shelf/just traded for only one bottle" threads. Please internet friends posting on a beer forum, tell me if I should drink/purchase this beer because I can't make these kind of decisions on my own.

I like to read a lot of the threads, however my favorite is the "This years XXXX beer is worse then last years", because I scroll thru until someone says "send me yours for tasting/proper drain pour". Really?!?

A whole year down the drain for no good reason. At least for now new thread resurrected. We did suffer a casualty thought, loss of the man who called you "Cycle Man" !

 

I mostly enjoy the treads discussing openly the craft breweries and new start ups in their area to get a pulse on the current state of craft beer. Costs, business models, types of beer, competition etc.

 

This made me giggle and then flat out LOL!

 

Any thread title that has the word, Beer nerd, snob, geek, ect in it

 

I peruse bad trader threads, like someone rubbernecking at a horrible car accident.

 

I will also add what are least favorite threads too. I am always looking for things to try. Both of these threads help me in that. A lot of mentions in either one gives me what to buy and what to pass on.
