Granted I didn't really need the fireplace on this 79 degree day in Seattle.

Sipping on this Triumvirate from Rivertown Brewing while cooking Korean BBQ. This wild ale is stupendous!

    Reviews:

This is a good black IPA. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine; with moderate chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toast, and lightly charred malts with fresh floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine, citrus rind, and roasted bitter finish; with a very smooth, crisp, and resinous sticky mouthfeel and finish. Good overall complexity of citrus/piney hop flavors with good dark/roast malt presence. I enjoyed it, standard C hop showing in a black IPA. Quite tasty; though the bitterness is a bit rough on the finish, it's not overbearing.

Black Gose. Stillwater/Siren Collab. This is really nice. Slow harmless gusher opening. Aromas and flavors of tart lemon, lime, green apple, raisin, plum, hibiscus, and sea salt; with balanced chocolate, cocoa, toast, and dark bread maltiness; with herbal/floral/grassy hop/spice notes and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/acidic tartness with some slight roasted malt bitterness on the finish; with a very smooth and crisp finish with light-moderate lingering notes of salinity and acidity; with some light creaminess in the mouthfeel as well. A really nice experimental Gose for sure. They dialed back the acidity and salinity to let the roast malts have more prominence; while still leaving enough in there to have an overall general feel of a gose. The roast malts bring out some dark fruits as well, but not too bold on that note. Really all around enjoyable.

Fresh Hideout distribution. They sent a bunch of bomber sampler packs to local stores, so I have 3 other ones to try as well. This is pretty good. Aromas and flavors of big coconut, almond nuttiness, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, brown bread, and light cocoa; with some mild English yeast dark fruitness and herbal hop flavors. Light herbal hop bitterness one the finish provides some good balance with the malt sweetness. Lighter carbonation than I expected but not cloyingly sweet or anything. I enjoyed this one a good amount. Was expected an American brown ale, but once again the BA database is wrong; this is English styled(also relevant to the carbonation level). I'll be putting in a change request as usual.

If you drank all three of those yourself tonight you are a champ.

Dinner was made by Milana at work. She makes a MEAN chicken stroganoff (she also makes it with beef too sometimes) and she added some tomatoes with seasoning and a bit of oil. Having Flying Dog Bloodline IPA for the first time and I am really digging it. Cheers!!

Drinking my last Sierra Nevada Kolsch right now. I would definitely buy six-packs of this beer if such a thing existed, it's really good.

No picture to post on here this time, but I just uploaded a picture on the beer's page, so it won't have the generic question-mark bottle much longer (...I think that's probably the 4th or 5th beer picture I've added ever since finally figuring out how to resize them properly so that the site's uploader would accept them the other day... XD)

    Finishers:

My go-to blonde ale. Robust creamed/roasted coffee flavors and balanced crackery malts.

My go-to amber ale. Caramel/toasty/biscuit malts and balanced citrus/herbal hop flavors with balanced earthy bitterness. Always delicious.

Last Superfluid. Still tasting outstanding. Juicy mango, papaya, pineapple, lemon peel, tangerine, grapefruit, citrus rind, and piney hops; with some moderate honey/bready malt sweetness and a smooth/sticky/resinous bitter finish. A bit more malt presence after 3 months since packaging but still super hoppy and sticky.
