I voted for FIS because it's one of my favorite beers period, let alone favorite classic RIS. Just for fun, I decided to rank them, but I omitted Darkness and Brooklyn since I haven't had them.

Parabola was also removed in favor of another "classic" RIS: Narwhal.
    1. Founders Imperial Stout
    2. Bell's Expedition
    3. Stone IRS
    4. Ten FIDY
    5. Narwhal
    6. The Czar (this my "other")
    7. Old Rasputin
    8. Yeti
It's interesting, because when I was first getting into craft beer, Old Rasputin was one of my go-tos as it related to stouts. The way palates and tastes change over time is fascinating.

There are so many great ones on your poll list. Bell's Expedition and Great Divide Yeti take a close second and third for me; but Old Rasputin is damn near perfect, IMHO.

I was going to check Yeti, I would have if it was the Oak Aged version, so it was a toss up between Stone and Ten Fidy...went with stone

I haven't had any of these on the list, but so far my favorite is Great Lakes Brewing Blackout Stout.

Old Rasputin, in my opinion, can hold it's own with the best of them. It's one of the most solid beers I've ever had and never disappoints. Also nice to have such a good imperial stout available year round. Storm King would be next on my list.

I drink a great stout every now and then and think that maybe I've found a new favorite. Then I have an Old Rasputin and realize I was wrong.

I went with Old Rasputin. It's been a tried and true beverage of choice for me for years. I also enjoy Brooklyn Black Chocolate, Yeti, and Ten FIDY quite a bit, but Ol' Raspy wins based on years of service and consistency.

Unlisted honorable mentions include GL Blackout Stout and Thirsty Dog Siberian Night (especially the barrel-aged version). Old Rasputin and Siberian Night, I even own branded glassware for (thank you, Pint Nights at the **** & Bull Pub).

Of the others listed, I either haven't had the opportunity to try them yet (I'll likely never so much as see Parabola, much less taste it), or they're not in my go-to RIS wheelhouse.
