If you don't like the price, don't buy it. I'll happily shell out $15.99 for a 4 pack of I l Love You With My Stout or a bomber of Imperial Biscotti Break, both world class brews.

Shots fired at Ballast Point as well! -- No, but more seriously, I agree with Chris Klein. Pricing is absurd for some beers that some might say wouldn't warrant the high price.

Totally agree with @SteveD082791. I love the Imperial Biscotti Break and have no problem picking up multiple bottles at $15.99 when I stumble upon them. And I agree with his other point too that if you don't like the price then don't buy it. I bought a 6pk of Sculpin once for $14.99 and I will never make that mistake again. In my opinion that is an insanely overrated IPA, and I feel exactly the same about the Grapefruit version. However I was smart enough to only buy a single bottle of that one.

I had no problem paying 9$ a 4 pack of 16oz cans for Molotov Lite. Will do it again.

Now speaking about Colorado brewers and pricing don't get me started Avery, Breckenridge are waay on the high side of the dollar.

Drunken rant from an unhappy man? Jeppe is a cool guy and I'll support his awesome beer. I'd drink bikini beer all day if I could!

Since I am cheap I agree with his points, but man I think that brewery should switch to decaf in the break room.

*shrugs* Either you want it, and pay the asking price, or you pass. I'm sure Gucci loafers are very comfortable, but I'll continue to buy New Balance because I'm more at ease with the cost of one vs the other. What is lost in translation other than butthurt?

He does make some points. But Evil Twin makes some great stuff and I'll continue to pay for if from time to time. I just got a kick out of the letter he wrote haha I thought it was entertaining as all hell.

Isn't price usually determined by market demand? We pay the higher price and it stays, we don't and it drops...maybe we are to blame? Just a thought...

Always thought they were on the high side, but I really like some of their beers...mostly the stouts and porters

His example of Nomader Weiss is so true. 15-17$ a pack.

Im on board with this opinion. I think the imperial stout bombers are a little overpriced but they are expensive to make. Personally those sugary bombs are not my style. But seriously folks he has a point with the gypsy Brewer choice. And let's face it I almost shit in my pants when in the 18 dollar price tag on that Berliener Weiss Beer. Its flat out ridiculous. And as a few have said don't buy it then. Well most don't buy that one and then some sucker comes along and buys whats on the shelf for 6 months because they don't date. Hate to say it but they are the worst offender. But up north we got one in the running: Maine Beer. Uh oh.

I just went out of state for a wedding and I cant get Evil twin in my homestate. Ive had a few of their beer before at shares and from people who have picked some up for me. I really liked them

while out of state, i bought about 60$ worth of evil twin. 4 bombers and a 4 pack. I would say it was very worth it for a splurge purchase, once in a while. Obviously, If if looking for a 6 pack to share with friends or a 4 pack of something tasty, I wouldnt seek out evil twin bc their an indulgence purchase. Once in a while to hit a sweet (*beer) tooth.

Molotov lite is one of the few well priced beers that evil twin makes.

Tbh I don't think the guy from caution was entirely wrong. Plenty of other breweries are making beer at least as good as Evil Twin for much less.

I never buy their beer for this exact same reason. Same can be said for Sculpin. I don't see either of them being worth that much when I can easily find just as good other beers that are a lot cheaper.

I agree with what he is saying. But I do not agree with his methodology.

I would actually think contact brewing would make the beer cheaper than more expensive. Especially when they are going through a major contract brewer up in New England area.

But, what do I know. I just stopped buying what I perceive as over priced beer. Prairie 12 oz bottles included.
