    Last one went down real fast. Onto another hoppy beer my brother brought down from Maine. This IPA is similar appearance to the Pale Ale from last night, just a shade or two deeper amber color. Getting light mango and melon in the nose, pretty juicy. Little disappointed with the taste, has a nice malt component but not getting any tropical fruit. Some orange rind and pine in balance with the caramel. Medium mouthful and bitterness. No harsh lingering bitterness, very drinkable. It's a solid IPA, growing on me as I drink through the glass. However, wish the mango/melon was more present in the flavor but that's personal preference; never liked piney hops.

    lol :stuck_out_tongue: I'm tellin' ya, man - I was poisoned - musta been in a store - probably Kohl's or some shit - and they were playing it - Stop n' Shop maybe - I dunno - but it's like every time my brains "idles" :wink:, it comes like the radio - crazy :confused:

    Ha! The more recent post by @LeperJim reminded me I wanted to congratulate @WesMantooth for a Duvellishly good post this past Saturday. Enjoy the themed days, it almost seemed like a [NB]Sunday with the community involvement.

    Nice winner package, and enjoyed seeing a little love for the purveyors of the artwork on the labels of the beers we partake in. Cheers to you both.

    My groomsmen's gift of my fictional brewery... Newlywed Ale on Tap now while I'm watching the HAWKS and my Le Merle clone ended up at a FG of 1.003 so the ABV will be around 8.4%.
