    Freaking A!!! I went to Total Wine and more and I've been wanting to try a bunch of beers (I have a list of things to try given that they always have them) I ended up grabbing a bottle of Clown Shoes "Chocolate Sombrero" its a stout so I left it out when i got around to opening it, the damn thing was a gusher!! ugh!! such a disappointment, there was less than 3 oz in the bottle couldn't really enjoy it but damn it sucks. (the situation)

    Even a stout should not gush when opening it - regardless of the temperature. Any beer that gushes out and only leaves 3oz left in the bottle was either infected or overcarbonated, or both. I'd definitely ask for your money back.

    Yeah, I agree. If it gushed that much, it sounds like it was infected.

    Had one "gusher" and it wasn't a total waste. It was an Evil Twin Even More Jesus, and it spilled out a few ounces and had a slight bacon flavor that I hadn't detected before. Was splitting it with 2 others and none of us drain poured it.

    Just had one the other day. It was a bottle of duvel from the gift pack I bought for the glass for drink with the duvel day. =(

    Only one I've had was a bottle of Rugbrød. I lost quite a bit, but it's a big bottle so I wasn't too upset. Scared me more than anything. I'm running through the house with a gushing bottle and my wife and daughter are just looking at me like I'm a moron, haha.

    Can only imagine the label art Clown Shoes would use for Gusher. Probably a tad bit X-rated IMO.
