but they have distro here and that sounds tasty....

 

I ruined a mosaic ipa by dry hopping with these hops. Not a good combo. Sad. I can send you the leftover ounce if you want them.. lol.

 

This may be useless to those without access to Washington DC and maybe a DeLorean, but Bluejacket had a beer called Decoy on tap a few months ago that was all Hull Melon. Definitely a sweet/honeydew taste but enough hop bite to back it up. Probably not for everyone, but I myself took a growler home, and would definitely seek out more beers that dared to use it. Don't think I've ever seen it anywhere else (that I know of).

 

Tennesee Brew Works out of Nashville just release their NashWeizen that's hopped with both Hull Melon and Hallertau Blanc

Local brewery did a German style ipa with Mandarina Bavaria and Huell Melon that was amazing. Melony, slight citrus, orange and endlessly drinkable. Currently am working with a brewer to make a Hoppy wheat featuring El Dorado and Huell Melon. Can't wait

 

Blue Moon White IPA

 

A small brewery in Norton, MA, Bog Iron Brewery, brews an Imperial IPA called "Kiss M'Self" which uses Hull Mellon, Manderina Bavarian, Mosaic and Columbus. Best IPA ever!

 

Great notion makes a hull melon single hop NE IPA called Whole melon. It tastes straight up like melon its pretty damn tasty. I know they don't distro to your area but you could easily trade for it.

Easiest would be Blue Moons White IPA. You wont need to search your ass of to find it. It has huel melon hops. Ive had it its not a hop bomb but actually good and decently hoppy. better than Sam Rebel IPA.

 

Rhinegeist in Cincinnati had a beer called Glow which was German Hull melon hopped. Still available in some places, so you might be able to get a trade for one.
