Isn't the obvious answer a burger with crab chips on it? I'll go with that!

 

First of all those are not burgers...they look like god forsaken country club finger foods son....and a strawberry on a burger ....Are they served with frozen drinks w/umbrellas?

 

FWIW my preferred burger is just very simple -- I'm not into crazy amounts of toppings on any of my sandwiches

burger done medium, kaiser roll, cheese (what kind it is honestly doesn't matter to me though preference to pepperjack, american, or cheddar), ketchup, mustard (regular or spicy, again doesn't matter), and pickles

I'm a pretty picky/plain eater

Cheddar, bacon, fried egg on an English muffin cooked medium.

 

You probably like your burgers like an intelligent reb......

It might not be a "manly" burger, but it sounds frickin' delicious.

With that said @heystevec, my burger of choice is on a toasted brioche with american and cheddar, with bacon, lettuce, tomato, sauteed mushrooms, fried onions and mayo. Medium to medium well, there's no real benefit to medium rare once the meat is ground anyway, but it definitely has to be juicy.

 

For the record I do not disagree...but I had to throw a jab in there....

 

Since people were posting about it earlier... I just decided to do a count since I haven't updated "inventory" in a while...

FWIW my capacity isn't much more than what I have -- I could realistically fit maybe 3 more beers in the fridge right now, and maybe 12 more beers in my "cellar" storage without having to find some kind of overflow..... trying to drink down a little bit before the 2 NHL boxes I have coming land, and potentially 4 more on top of that if the hawks win....

 

Brioche bun - lightly toasted
Meat ground chuck, sirloin and bacon
Meat brushed with olive oil and salt/pepper
Moderate high heat
Red onions
Grilled onions
Mayo/ketchup
Beefsteak tomato
White cheddar cheese
Romaine lettuce
Side of crab chips

Sidetrack in Ypsilanti serves a burger with homemade crunchy peanut butter on it. Sounds weird but it's pretty damn tasty. They use to have a burger with strawberry compote and ricotta cheese that the waiter said was awesome. It's tough to beat their burger with pimento cheese, bacon and fried green tomato though.

 

@heystevec - have you had the smoke burger at Alewife? Real nice

@Dave_Treat - I also like flavors in my beers

 

That's OK, I don't like come on my chips anyway...

 

Give me a break. Tried not to say the beer is complex, but that is what it is...lots of flavors. You can drive your happy ass over the river and I'll share with you.
