I get this feeling that if I started talking to this guy in a bar, I'd leave the conversation within 2 minutes.

This is Esquire and not beer geek monthly, the general population will in fact never get to have these beers... The demographic they are trying to reach doesn't wait in line for 1 or two 15-60$ bottle of beer

meh. not really a list I'd agree with. A few on there were no surprise though.

You're a better man than me... I would walk away; eventually I would get tired of strangling him with his own beard.

Thanks for posting. This is a good read. It's interesting to see the details on each even though I don't have the desire or energy to go after them.

0/10 here. Most of these lists I'm usually between 10-30%.

I'm 0/10 and doubt that's too far off the average BA

If we are going by beers that the general population will in fact never get to have, this list from Esquire would be a LOT larger. Not trying to dis what you are saying but expand it in fact.

    Bullshit.

Only beer on that list I might want to try is the Dark Lord and I gave up on Three Floyd's YEARS ago when the top brewer moved to Firestone Walker and started making beers real people could buy.

And not just for one day in one place a year to sell on Ebay.

I am so glad that the TG brewer went to Darkness Day 2013 and brought some KBBS with him. It was fantastic, I can say I've had it, but no beer is worth the trade value that it gets. I only drink sours when they get offered at bottle shares.
