A (new) beer a day average

105 this year. I need 22 to hit 1,000. I can generally snag 4-5 new beers each week.

 

I've reviewed 49 new on here in 2015. There might be a few more that I've had while out that I didn't record. Not sure if I could get myself at 1/day

 

I've logged 90 new beers in 2015 - 133 short of 1000 - which I'll probably hit in 2015, even though I don't "tick" per se...

 

126 this year. I usually only have "new beers " on the weekend 2-3 per session. I guess I'll have about that many more this year.
Recently I have been seeking new Countries, styles and States. After about 40 States I seem to have all the low hanging fruit. To get to 75 styles I tried and really liked a few things I used to walk past.

 

I've logged 139 new beers this year, so that's an average of 0.84 beers per day. This year I'm a bit behind my usual pace. Since I started tracking my new beers (1/1/2010) I've averaged 1.05 new beers a day.

 

94 added this year. While I try to keep my dance card open for ones I have not tried, Undercover and Union Jack and a handful of SN favorites beg to differ.

 

91 new beers since 1/1/15 for me so far.

 

I've rated 280 new beers so far this year and that is without me going out of my way to tick...I have bought more repeats and sixes and gone entire weeks without a single new beer than ever before. Odd and indicative of the volume of beer I'm consuming despite my intention to dial it back a bit this year!

I've gone to a number of special events and new breweries and that always helps to try lots of new things but overall I think I'm just being a glutton.

 

I am coming up on my 5 year anniversary on BA and I'm averaging 235 new beer a year. With my job taking me all over the country it is increasing my totals. Just spent a week in Chicago and tried 12 new beers. Factor in what I brought home with me and that trip alone will account for 20.

About 1.5 average here. Helps that I share every bomber (and some smaller beers), so I can argue it's not as "bad" as it seems , Mom (sorry, habit).

 

282. Most of these were shared or flights at a brewery so not as crazy as sounds. That said I may need to start slowing down haha.

 

I've rated over 100 new (to me) beers since February (when I joined BA); however, I've drank over 400 new beers in the same time frame. On average, I drink 1 - 3 new beers a day, and have for several years now. Yesterday, for instance, I drank 4 new beers (Clown Shoes' Hoppy Feet, Brasseries Kronenbourg's 1664, Elysian's Dragontooth Stout, and Timmerman's Framboise Lambic). Lots of flights and shared bottles with @Hootie159. That along with a Denver trip that was very beer-centric makes for a higher number than I expected.

 

It's totally doable. I've been hitting a beer a day for several years now. Helps to do samplers at brewpubs on vacations.

I've actually slowed down quite a bit...

 

86 new beers this year so far and I am at a slower pace then I wish but no regrets. 122 left to get to 1000 so it could be done by New Years but not counting on it. Enjoying the balance of life lately with kids so I am happy with my pace considering!

 

I have tried 189 new ones so far this year.

 

And I thought I was an overachiever with 227. Well done!
