Yup, didn't have any expectations and wasn't disappointed. I didn't even try to get on at 9am, casually got on at like 10:10ish just to see if anything good and how long it would take to load, and how much more I would have to spend just to lock a good bottle. Then it was announced it would be rescheduled and well, you know the rest.

Anniversary sale. Another one of those things where they sit on every limited beer they get until they can do an online sale where they force you to buy a bunch of extra stuff for the beer you're after.

Why are still talking about these people again? Any word of mouth, even that of their shittastic service basically still keeps them in our attention.

Best to just be completely ignored.

But the more people that know they are douchebags the better. Bad publicity isn't always good publicity

So I went on today for their "cellar sale" and come to find out that every "limited" beer I had in my cart was out of stock when I attempted to check out. Never using their website.....glad I haven't in the past. I'll stick with craft city or craft shack. Punks!

What I've learned today is that their "cart" system works unlike any other cart system on the Internet I've ever experienced. Just because you've added something to yours doesn't mean the item has been removed from inventory. If they have "5 bottles left" of Parabola there could be 50 people with it in their carts and the first five to check out win.

I got killed on Peche n Brett and Vanilla Rye because I couldn't log into PayPal fast enough and I lost my bottles. I've scored on some other items I wanted but those were the two biggies I missed so far due to their bizarre cart system.

So you were willing to spend $75 on over priced shelfies just to land a single "rare" bottle? At least the Loons were reasonably priced, but $40 for PnB? Ha!

Only one in willing to bend over for is Framboos, seems like barely any hit town. Curios what the min buy was for that one of its already been put up

Well, at the time I didn't know how the sale worked, so I was willing to TRY and find worthy bottles in order to get a PnB, but obviously it didn't work because I spent too long scouring the inventory. By the time they started offering Parabola there was enough from the sale to justify the cost. Sure, I'll take Cascade Kriek and Cocoa Shake and Midnight Brett to get it done.

It was $38.99 a bottle. Minimum...I think was like $100. Crazy. But they still had some decent stuff at that time. Pugachev's Cobra, Stickee Monkee, you could have made it work if you acted fast enough.

I'm cool with one of the owners but man these sales are not for me. They are nice ppl and even hook it up once in a while. But would been nice to have bought those VRs in November when they got em, rather than to battle it out with everyone on the internet.

I'm sure they make good bank on these sales but I feel this will hurt them in the long run.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on this one in case a good opportunity arises but I have no interest in buying from them in the future if this is how their system works. Between the cart and the minimums it's just not worth it.

Framboos was $48.99, minimum $100 to order. Looks like they only had two bottles.

You know when you feel alone in the world, and then you see something that makes you think you're not abnormal? Yeah, that thread did it to me.

I'm still furious over the BWX "Moe rule". BWX knows damn well he brings a bunch of mules and then resells their bottles in his store. Instead of banning him, or banning his mules, they issue a blanket rule change that screws over normal folks and really doesn't do much to cut down his muling and reselling. Then, BWX turns around and sells him a 3L not 2 or 3 days later.

BWX = Barrelworks? If so, what does/did CBK charge for Barrelworks beers?

From FB posts I seen of people buying them, $25-$30.

At FWIBF this year he and his little crew set up shop right near the exit as the festival was ending with six plus beer bros all wearing their craft beer kings shirts like a human billboard.
